Molding Preforms
Resinoid Engineering has the ability to densify (preform or extrude) molding compounds.
- Convert bulk molding compound(s) into a "preformed" shape size and weight (shot size).
- Insert into mold(s) directly (eliminates weighing each shot).
- Pre-heat, prior to molding (assists with molding dynamics).

Preform dies range in size from 7/8" in diameter to 4-1/4" in diameter.

Machine tonnages up to 150 tons.

Resinoid has the ability to preform a wide range of thermoset molding compounds including: phenolic, DAP, alkyd, granular polyester, as well those materials filled with "long-glass" fibers (1/2" strand length and up).
